A message from our Broker/Owner: (last updated 3-20-20)

Dear Owners,

Golf View Realty Property Management, Inc. wanted to take the time and update you on how we are addressing the business moving into this new situation of the COVID-19 impacting our nation. We understand that many of you have concerns regarding property management, including the following: tenants paying rent, maintenance in the properties, and receiving monthly disbursements. We want to assure you that we have been in contact with our team and have come up with a plan addressing this difficult situation.

As many of you know the COVID-19 situation can cause many people to work from home and others to go home without pay. We have begun communication with all tenants to be prepared in case this does happen in some of our properties. Evictions have been postponed until April 30th, 2020. In this case any tenant that is unable to pay rent, they will be given an extension on a CASE-BY-CASE basis. GVRPM will take into consideration a tenant’s payment history with us to make these decisions but of course will be informing you of these situations as they occur. Our legal counsel has prepared updated documents that may be used going forward to administer both abadement and payment plans if deemed necessary.

Regarding maintenance in the properties, effective March 23rd, 2020 only emergency maintenance calls will be carried out to the properties. These “emergency cases” will be considered again on a CASE-BY-CASE decision and the tenants’ and vendors’ health will be considered in these decisions. Please note that if an emergency case is accepted that social distancing will still be required to ensure the safety of all parties. This means that tenants will need to remain 6-ft from the vendors working at all times. We have also been in communication with all vendors and ensure that they too are abiding by the same restrictions and precautions to protect tenants and themselves.

GVRPM for some time has been backing up all information to a cloud-based system and an external hard-drive to be prepared in the case of a shelter in place decision by the government. We assure you that our offices are being cleaned regularly with disinfectants and we are taking extra precautions. Any employee of GVRPM that is feeling ill is told to work from home and seek medical attention if necessary. 

At this moment we do not foresee any issues with sending out disbursements. Monthly disbursements will continue to go out as scheduled and accordingly with the Property Management Agreement, that states disbursements will be paid around the 20th of the month.
